Computer Science Hub has conjured up an interesting 3D printing infographic that details many aspects of 3D printing. The infographic named, “3D Printing – The Future Is Now” explains the working concept of 3D printing, what it can do, the history of 3D printing up until now and some of the currently available printers on the market.
The history part seems to be the most interesting as it details important milestones reached in the development of 3D printing. For instance, back in 1992 3D Systems developed the first sterolithographic printer. Another interesting year on the infographic was 2005, when Dr. Adrian Bowyer founded the RepRap project, starting the desktop 3D printing revolution we see today.
