The craze for 3D pens is sure to reach your door if it hasn’t already. With kids today always wanting the newest and the coolest toys, there’s a big chance that your kids will be pestering you to get them 3D pens one of these days. When that time comes, it is a good idea to be ahead of the game and be knowledgeable about the best 3D pens for kids.
As parents, it is understandable if we only want the best for our kids. So I won’t fault you if you are thinking about just logging to you your Amazon account and ordering the most expensive 3D pen you can find. But hold that impulse just yet and believe me when I say that when it comes to 3D pens for kids, expensive is not necessarily the best.
How old is your kid?
You might find it surprising, but not every 3D pen is suited for use by children. Remember, 3D pens work by melting plastic, so somewhere inside the pen there is a part that is so hot that it can actually melt plastic. You don’t want your kid’s hand anywhere near that part.
Fortunately, 3D pens are designed to keep the hot part away from the user as much as possible. But still, some of them are better suited for children than others.
